Workflow process for the repository.

Description
The preservation process either begins with unbinding the object or simply scanning an object on an archival or overhead scanner. For ephemera, we generally remove the binding (if necessary) and cut off the residual material with a paper cutter. After which, we scan on an archival scanner, batch the files and upload and store them. Metadata is recorderd and entered or harvested into Indigo for access in our repository called "Francis". Physical items are stored in archival boxes for relocation to an archive and are no longer handled. The project started with a complete inventory of holdings and identification of rare objects using OCLC to identify holdings. If there are less than 5 holdings worldwide, we digitally preserve the object.
